Watch the snow come falling down, falling, falling, down. Is a wonderful song we sing in Little Folk's Music WINTER classes. Not ONLY are the concepts of UP and DOWN involved but the use of vocal (ups) with physical (downs). Scarfs are used to represent (snow) white and (rain) blue. We blow up, so that the scarfs can fall gently and softly down to the ground.
With this wonderful snow storm we are getting 1/12/2011, please remember the simple gifts of a warm house, a cup of tea, food to share, family to laugh with. Thank those people, willing to get out in the cold and ice to make our lives simpler by gathering food, clearing off cars, and generally creating paths. These things make this life journey just a bit easier.
During the snow falling song in Little Folk's Music, we NEVER forget that snow can be fun! The lessons of never take things to seriously, and always remember to PLAY is truly encouraged.
Have a playful snowball fight, enjoy the differing human reactions.

"Oh, Raspberries!"
We had so much fun today at Comsewogue Public Library! We started off with fun beats walking and drumming, ringing winter bells. Off we went moving chanting to speaking.
It is so much easier to sing!
Between the rain and snow falling, slipping and falling, we cuddled up to tones that are so much fun.
Yea! for "raspberries!" Opening up nasal cavities making my nose itch.
The highs and lows, as babies go, Moms and Dads were ready for naps!
Attached is a great article! I think you will find Little Folk's Play Philosophy Here!
Thanks Pat!
We will see you again in the Summer!

New Year, new calendar, New Baby!
To all my loyal Little Folk's Music fans,
Lynda Folk will be in Nevada County, California from January 15 thru to February 2, 2011. My beautiful daughter will be blessing us with a NEW arrival. I am so excited, and feel so blessed by this part of our families new journey.
Little Folk's Music will be bringing it's music program to California! It will be interesting to see how California handles New York's music and movement adventure. The serenity and beauty of the Tahoe Mountains', reflecting from the lake might make this Long Island girl want to stay.
I am NOW scheduling and booking dates for the Spring!
If you have not already done so, please reserve your dates NOW!
This will help with my return and insure that I get back to my responsibilities and teenagers.
